Facebook is finally bringing live video streaming to Android devices. The feature has been available on iOS devices for quite some time and is now finally coming to Android devices as well.
Starting next week, you’ll receive an update to your Facebook Android app (in US only, initially) to enable the new feature. This update will also bring a new design to the app, and the “What’s on your mind?” section will particularly look different.
Below’s how you can live stream video from Facebook Android app:
- Open the Facebook app and tap on “What’s on your mind?” section.
- You’ll see a list of options, select “Live video”.
- Now give your video a short description and then hit the “Go Live” button.
That’s all. Within seconds you’ll be live streaming your story with your friends and followers.
