Back in May, the images and specs of the alleged Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 were leaked via the Chinese certification website TENAA. Now, the live images of the Galaxy J5 have been revealed by those folks at SamMobile. These leaked images confirm the design of the mid-range smartphone.

From the looks, the Galaxy J5 carrying the model number SM-J500F seems to have a design with a plastic body and removable black panel that makes it similar to that of the Galaxy J1. The difference between the two devices is only in the dimension and screen size.

The battery in the Galaxy J5 seems to be removable and there are both micro SD and SIM card slots under the back cover. Adhering to the previous leak, the Galaxy J5 seems to run the Android 5.1 Lollipop topped with the new version of TouchWiz UI that arrived on Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

From the earlier leaks and the recent reports, the device is likely to boast of a 5 inch display and equip a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 1.5 GB of RAM. The handset is said to pack 8 GB of native storage space that can be expanded further.

As the Galaxy A5, Galaxy A7 and Galaxy E7, this new Galaxy J5 also seems to feature a 13 MP main snapper at its back and a 5 MP front facer selfie snapper for video conferencing.
