The LG V30 will soon get the Android 8.0 Oreo update, starting in South Korea first. This news comes officially from LG, so you better believe it.

Users in South Korea can try out the official beta before the public version is released. It is fairly simple to sign up for the Oreo beta as well. All you have to do, is to open the Quick Help app on your LG V30 and select the LG OS Preview banner inside the app.

The LG OS Preview program is already live, so if you live in South Korea and own an LG V30, you can apply now. Once you’ve got the beta software, you can provide feedback to the company and they will listen to your requests and reviews to improve the final software.

The latest Android 8.0 Oreo update will brings several improvements in terms of performance and battery life. The update would also add new features such as Picture-in-Picture and many more. The official roll-out of a stable Android 8.0 Oreo update for the LG V30 will begin in December worldwide.

Although Google has already released Android 8.1.1 Oreo for developers, many major manufacturers are yet to release version 8.0 for their devices. OnePlus, Nokia, and Samsung have started beta programs as well, with official release happening by the end of 2017 or early 2018.

Do you own an LG V30? Would you be trying out the Oreo beta on your device?
