LG Q6 and Q6+ to be priced $360 and $425

LG unveiled the mini version of its flagship device LG G6, the LG Q series today. LG Q series consists of three smartphone – low model LG Q6α, base model LG Q6, and top model Q6+.

The two models differ in RAM and internal storage only. While the base model Q6 features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and the top end model LG Q6+ flaunts 4GB RAM and 64GB memory. Both the devices will sport 5.5-inch FHD+ FullVision minimized bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

The other specifications include 3,000mAh battery, Android 7.1.1 Nougat, Face Recognition technology, single 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, Google Assistant, steady record and FM Radio.

While LG has released the specifications of the device, they have not announced the price officially. However, according to the latest report, the base model LG Q6 will be priced at $360 while the top model LG G6+ will cost $425.

Further, as previously reported, the LG Q6 will be released in next month in Asia. However, looks like LG Q6+ will be delayed to early September.

LG Q series lies between the budget friendly and mid budget range and therefore will compete directly with mid-budget Samsung Galaxy A series and budget friendly Galaxy J Series.
