April 24, 2019: The first software update for the LG G8 ThinQ is now rolling out for Verizon and AT&T users. The update is carrying version G820UM10d for the former and G820UM10i for the latter and on top of installing a new April 2019 security patch, it also tags along Air Motion and Hand ID features.
AT&T says version G820UM10i also brings ring distortion fix and Face ID improvements, which is why it weighs 278MB. As for Sprint, the changelog only mentions April patch and bug fixes, so do let us know if Air Motion and Hand ID are also included in the update, which is arriving as version G820U10i.
