LG brings Android 8.0 Oreo for LG V30 Plus in India

LG V30 Plus users in the company’s home country of Korea started receiving Android 8.0 Oreo before the end of 2017, but it’s only now that the device’s users in India are receiving a similar treat.

Through the official Facebook page, LG India has confirmed that LG V30 Plus users in the country can now download and install Android Oreo on their devices from today. Like others who have already received the update, V30 Plus devices in India will also get all the software-related goodies that debuted with the LG V30S ThinQ at the MWC 2018.

We are talking about the Visual AI stuff that is baked right into the camera (AI CAM, QLens, and Bright Mode), Voice AI that taps the power of Google Assistant to let you run apps and execute various functions using voice commands, and so on.

The update is available over the air, meaning it will take a few days before every LG V30 Plus unit in India gets the download notification.
