A few weeks back, there were reports suggesting that one of the leading Chinese video content providers Letv is planning to foray into the smartphone market segment with the launch of a top notch device. Notably, Letv announced its internet Smart TV in the last year and it got a great response for the same.

As the firm is claimed to be in plans of launching a new smartphone in the market that is already preoccupied with numerous offerings, the upcoming Letv smartphone has been leaked online revealing its details.

By saying details, we mean the benchmark information of the smartphone and the alleged image of the smartphone. The device is likely to be called Letv X600 and incorporate a 64 bit 1.9 GHz MediaTek octa core MT6795. However, the early leaks pointed at the use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor under its hood.

The MediaTek chipset in question is one of the most capable ones in the market and it has achieved an AnTuTu score of over 50,000 in the AnTuTu v5.6.1. This chipset is called Helio X10 and it is on par with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810.

The MediaTek processor in the Letv X600 is likely to be backed by 2 GB of RAM for multitasking. The handset is listed to boast of a 5.5 inch display with Full HD 1080p resolution. On the whole, the Letv X600 is said to incorporate high end Hi-Fi audio chips and potent imaging aspects to render the best audio and imaging user experiences.

We do not have any information on the release information and pricing details of the Letv X600 smartphone. But, we can expect the smartphone to be priced low in order to take over its competitors.
