The budget friendly K series from Lenovo has received a new addition in the form of Lenovo K8 Note in India. The K8 Note is the successor of Lenovo K6 Note that was launched last year in India.
The Lenovo K8 Note has everything that you can ask from a budget friendly smartphone. For starters, you get a display of 5.5-inch with 1080p resolution and 2.5D glass. Incidentally, the display resolution is same as last year’s model. Further, the metal smartphone is splash-resistant as it is covered with water-repellent nano-coating.

The device comes in two variants of 3GB RAM/32GB memory and 4GB RAM/64GB memory. Both the variants are coupled with MediaTek 10-core Helio X23 processor.
In the camera segment, the smartphone features the dual camera setup at the back. While the main camera is 13MP, the second camera of the dual camera is 5MP. On the front, you get 13MP single camera with LED flash.
Continuing the trend of massive battery, Lenovo K8 Note also sports 4000mAh battery, which claims to deliver 378 hours of standby time. Further, the smartphone also supports fast charging and you don’t have to buy a separate charger, the 15W rapid charger is bundled in the box. For software, you get stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

The fingerprint sensor is located at the back below the camera setup. Lenovo K8 Note is a dual SIM device that supports 4G VoLTE. It includes sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
Lenovo has added a new hardware key to K8 Note that Lenovo calls as Music key, which allows users to launch music app and do other stuff related to music. However, what’s good is you can reassign the key to any app of your preference.
The smartphone is exclusive to Amazon India and will go on sale from 18 August. It is available in two colors, Venom Black and Fine Gold. While the 3/32GB variant is priced at INR 12,999, the 4/64GB variant costs INR 13,999.
