Lenovo India Sold 1 Million 4G Enabled Smartphones this year

Lenovo India has stated that it has achieved selling 1 million 4G enabled smartphones in the country via Flipkart this year so far. The 4G smartphones launched by the firm include Lenovo A6000, Lenovo A7000 and A6000 Plus that are exclusive to the online retailer.

As per the firm, the reason for this success is that all these smartphones with 4G connectivity fit in the market’s requirements with reasonable price points. While most of the regions are yet to gain the 4G access, the firm has added usability and performance with unique aspects such as Dolby Atmos making these device impressive ones in the market.

Moreover, these smartphones from Lenovo support 4G LTE networks FDD Band 3 and TDD Band 40 in the country. On reaching this milestone, the Director at Lenovo Smartphones India, Sudhin Mathur stated that Lenovo continues to push the market threshold further for newer devices. Besides launching impressive devices, the firm’s partnership with the online retailer Flipkart gives the customers across the country the access to 4G connectivity.

He further stated that apart from the metro cities in the country, the Lenovo A6000, Lenovo A7000 and Lenovo A6000 Plus smartphones have witnessed uptake in regions such as Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Kerala, Maharashtra and Gujarat.

Meanwhile, Lenovo has started sending press invites for the launch of the K3 Note smartphone also with 4G LTE connectivity support. This device is expected to be launched on June 25 in the country.
