Kyocera Cadence and DuraXV LTE receive update that fixes Blueborne security issue

Verizon is pushing a new OTA update to two Kyocera handsets, Kyocera Cadence and Kyocera DuraXV LTE. For the unaware, both the handsets are flip phones.

The new update, first of all, brings the BlueBorne security patch to both the Kyocera handsets. BlueBorne is a dangerous attack vector that spreads through Bluetooth. No pairing is required for the attacker to gain access to your device. If BlueBorne patch is not applied, he/she can access your device even if Bluetooth is on.
