Huawei Y9 2019 images leak out at TENAA (as JKM-AL00)

Huawei’s budget Y series got a new member this year – the Huawei Y9. Apparently, the company is already lining up the phone’s successor that is expected to go by the name Huawei Y9 2019 and the first in the Y series with a notch.

The Y9 2018 was announced in March 2018, which is at least 5 months from now, but a listing on TENAA of a device carrying model number JKM-AL00 is believed to be of the Y9 2019. It’s possible that this early appearance on TENAA could mean the device will be announced less than a year since its predecessor came to life, but we cannot guarantee this.

The listing doesn’t talk much about the alleged Huawei Y9 2018 specs and features, but it does mention that it will be an LTE device. Still, we expect an upgraded device from what the current model, which is also known as Enjoy 8 Plus in China, brings to the table.
