Huawei Prepping Kirin OS, Likely to Debut on Honor 7 this Month

Back in May, there were rumors that the Chinese firm Huawei is involved in the development of its own software for its smartphones. Now, a screenshot has been leaked suggesting at the new Kirin OS 1.0 on a device that is likely to be the upcoming flagship Honor 7.

If the claims are to be believed, the Honor 7 will be the first smartphone to arrive with the Kirin OS 1.0. Also, we can see the launch of the firm’s own software this month itself as the handset will be launched by the end of June.

It is not too surprising to hear that Huawei is developing its own Kirin OS as several leading manufacturers are involved in developing their own UI in order to render a better user experience.

There are speculations that Huawei has been involved in the development of this new mobile operating system called Kirin OS since three years in its lab. It will be interesting to see how this platform competes with the OyxygenOS and CyanogenMod.

For now, Huawei has not revealed any official word regarding the new software. We will get to know by the end of this month if the Kirin OS 1.0 is real and more information about the software in a couple of weeks.
