Huawei P30 Pro update: New OTA adds dual-view camera mode, April patch, and more

Latest news

April 30, 2019: Huawei has a new update for the P30 Pro rolling out as EMUI in China. On top of installing the latest April 2019 security patch, the update also brings support for recording videos using both the standard and zoom lenses.

Dubbed dual-view camera mode, this feature was hyped at the launch event, but it wasn’t part of the pre-installed camera software. With the latest update, which also adds things like Charming portrait mode, the camera app now promises even better photos and videos.

Huawei also says this same update automatically generates highlight reels, applies effects templates, and creates MVs in the Huawei Vlog.
