Huawei Nova 4 specs and screen protector leak out

Following Samsung’s footsteps, Huawei is also gearing up to launch a phone with a display hole. It’s called the Nova 4 and we expect it to go live on December 17.

Well, while we wait on that the full specs of the phone, alongside a dedicated screen protector have leaked online vis Slashleaks.

When it arrives next week, the Huawei Nova 4 is going to come boasting a 6.4-inch display with fullHD+ resolution (2310 x 1080 pixels) and a 19:25:9 aspect ratio. Obviously, as indicated by the hole in the screen protector, the phone will have the selfie camera embedded directly into the display. Speaking of which, it’s going to be a 25MP sensor with AI beautification capabilities.

As for the back of the phone, it will host a triple camera arrangement consisting of 20MP+16MP+2MP sensors on the standard version. Huawei will apparently also release a higher-end model with a 48MP+16MP+2MP configuration.

Interestingly, although we were expecting the Nova 4 to be based on Huawei’s latest Kirin 980, Slashleaks says that the phone will be powered by last year’s Kirin 970 processor instead. This will be backed up by a hefty 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
