The Huawei Mate 9 is receiving an OTA update with firmware build MHA-AL00C00B153. The update is 278MB in size and brings quite a few improvements to the already power-packed phone.
The update includes December security patch, performance improvements and a deep diving 10x digital zoom to the Mate 9’s camera.
The OTA update is on the roll as we speak. If you haven’t received the update notification yet on your device, be sure to check for the update manually via Settings » About phone » System updates.
Personally, I find the Huawei Mate 9 to be one of the best Android smartphone in terms of performance. And with further performance improvements made to the device with today’s OTA update, the Mate 9 continues to be our current favorite.
