Amazon is offering a $150 discount on Moonlight Silver variant of the Unlocked Huawei Mate 9 which brings down its effective price to $449.
Although it’s been close to a year since the unveiling of the Mate 9, the smartphone still stands as a strong competitor (specs-wise) in the flagship market.
It features a massive 5.9-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 running over it. The smartphone is powered by the in-house Kirin 960 SoC and houses a Mali-G71 to take care of graphics.

There’s 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD slot if needed. As for the imaging, the Mate 9 uses a 20MP + 12MP Leica branded dual camera setup on the back.
At the front is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. The entire package is backed by a huge 4,000mAh battery. Also, in case you are wondering, the Mate 9 comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box with the company’s EMUI skin on top.
Do note that the offer is valid only on the Moonlight Silver color variant. If you want to get the Space Gray variant, you’ll have to shell out $590.
