Honor Note 10 Android 9 Pie update
- Beta update rolling out
- Stable version expected in late 2018 or early 2019
Launched with Android 8.1 Oreo preinstalled, the Honor Note 10 was never a doubt with respect to the Pie update. In fact, we expected the phone to be part of the initial wave that consisted the likes of Huawei P20, Mate 10, and Honor Play, among others, but the phablet had to wait until November 20th, which is when the second wave of devices started receiving EMUI 9.0 beta based on Android 9 Pie.
The update is coming in as EMUI 18.104.22.168 and is rolling out over the air to those who had submitted their interest when Huawei announced the program for the device in October 2018. To get the OTA, you also need to be using at least EMUI version 22.214.171.124.
With testing expected to last several weeks, we could see the stable version start rolling out towards the end of this year or early 2019.
