Huawei Honor 7 with Metal Design to go official in June

It seems like Huawei is all set launch the Honor 7 and Honor 7 Plus smartphones soon. These devices will be the successors to the Honor 6 and Honor 6 Plus respectively. As per the Chinese website Mobile-dad, the Honor 7 will be released in late June.

A variant with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory capacity allegedly carrying a price tag of 1,999 CNY (approx. $320) should be released initially in the next month. A premium variant of the device with a larger 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space is likely to be priced at 2,699 CNY (approx. $435) should be released in early July.

Going by the reports, the Honor 7 is said to be made of metal and run on Android Lollipop. The device is likely to boast of a 5 inch FHD 1080p display and a fingerprint scanner. The other aspects of the device include a 13 MP primary camera with OIS, an in-house octa-core Kirin 935 processor and a 3280 mAh battery.

When it comes to the Huawei Honor 7 Plus, the smartphone is likely to feature a 5.5 inch FHD 1080p display, an in-house Kirin 950 processor and a dual-lens main snapper. It is said that this smartphone will be launched by the third quarter of this year.
