Dubbed as the SWAG phone, the Honor 6X, is up for pre-order in Malaysia. Priced at RM 1199, the phone is listed on Malaysian online store Lazada with estimated delivery date of February 17th, that is today.
The mid-range Huawei smartphone was globally launched at the CES event in the first week of January followed by releases in other countries viz India, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria. Notably, in the last four countries, it goes by the moniker Huawei GR5 2017.
An ideal handset, in the mid-range category for camera phone lovers, Honor 6X packs in pretty appreciable internal hardware assortment. The phone is powered by Kirin 655 octa-core SoC paired with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB ROM. However, Lazada has the base storage model listed in grey color option for pre-order in Malaysia.

Coming to other specs, Honor 6X sports 5.5-inch screen with a 2.5D curved display on top. The body has a metallic finish giving it a premium feel. Catering to the needs of camera lovers, it flaunts rear dual camera setup of 12MP and 2MP resolution paired with 8MP selfie snapper.
The phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow but is expected to get the official Nougat update in March. Notably, the Android 7.0 Nougat beta for it has already been released.
