Huawei is expanding the availability of its mid-range smartphone, Huawei GR5 2017, by releasing it in different countries. The latest to join the list is Kenya where the phone is up for pre-order at Ksh 34,999.
The official Huawei Mobile handle for Kenya posted the news. Users can place the pre-order for the Huawei phone on any Safaricom shop where both the storage variants (32GB/64GB) are available.

Although the shipment date of the Huawei GR 2017 has not been mentioned, but what is known is that it will be shipped with a free sports watch for those who pre-order the device.
Just earlier in the day, we reported about the company lining up the release of Huawei GR5 2017, which is also known as Honor 6X globally, in four countries namely Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria soon.

The Huawei GR5 2017 sports a metallic finish body with 5.5-inch 2.5D curved display on top, a Kirin 655 processor, 3GB or 4GB RAM, 32GB or 64 GB internal storage and a 3340mAh battery. The main highlight of the phone is its camera- rear dual camera setup of 12MP and 2MP resolution paired with 8MP selfie snapper. On the software front we have Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
