Huawei GR5 2017 launches in Australia via Vodafone

The all new Huawei GR5 2017 is now available for purchase in Australia through Vodafone. We previously told you that the device will be available on April 12, and today is the day.

If you visit the Vodafone Australia website, you will be able to buy the GR5 2017 in Space Gray for $399. You can also buy the device by paying in installments, which start at $40 a month. For a mid-range smartphone, $399 seems like a little extra, but the specs do justify it.

The Huawei GR5 2017 is sold as the Honor 6X in other countries, and has the same features. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved display, a HiSilicon Kirin 655 processor paired with the Mali-T830MP2 GPU, and 3GB of RAM.

Other specs of the device include, 32GB of internal storage, a 3270 mAh battery, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on board. The phone also features a dual-camera setup at the back, with two 12MP sensors. At the front, there is an 8MP camera unit for the selfies.
