Earlier this month, Huawei opened Android 9 Pie beta program for those using the flagship P20, Mate 10, Honor 10 and even the flagship killer, Honor Play, in China. These devices are now getting a second Pie beta update that brings with it plenty of bug fixes and performance improvements.
The EMUI update is rolling out as software version 184.108.40.206, up from version 220.127.116.11 and as per the changelog, it fixes issues with gaming, optimizes system compatibility with certain networks and apps, and further brings about general system stability.
For those who have already made the switch to Huawei’s Android 9 Pie beta program, the update is coming in over the air. If you are yet to switch or maybe you don’t know how to go about it, check out the page below for more details.
It’s worth noting that we had earlier reported about the stable release of Android 9 Pie to the Honor Play in Poland. Well, it appears this wasn’t the case and that the update was still based on the beta version.
