HTC XT920e quad-core phone with 5-inch 1080p display passes 3C Certification

HTC seems to be churning out Full HD 1080p display endowed phones one after the other like nobody’s business. With the HTC J Butterfly for Japan, and more recently the Verizon HTC Droid DNA, it would seem that HTC is all poised to ring in 2013 in a big way. A new handset, model numbered HTC XT920e has now surfaced for 3C certification in China. 3C is short for China Compulsory Product Certification.

Moving on to the device itself, the certification data shows that the XT920e packs a 5-inch FullHD 1080p display, a 1.5 GHz Xiao Long S4 Pro quad-core processor coupled with 1.5GB RAM, a whopping 2500 mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on  board. Specs wise, the XT920e seems to be on the same lines as the previously announced HTC J Butterfly for Japan.

And the 3C clearance would mean that the device should hit the Chinese market pretty soon. Way to go, HTC. How about a Nexus phone now?
