HTC has finally unveiled it’s much awaited quad-core offering at MWC in Barcelona – the HTC One X. Formerly known as The HTC Endeavor or Edge, the One X is a Tegra-3 quad-core powered smartphone, with a 1280 x 720 SLCD display spread over 4.7″ of real estate. It also features an 8 MP camera with a f2.0 lens and LED flash for better low-light performance, and 1080p video capture, and a custom HTC Image Chip to process correction on the RAW image files from the sensor, rather than on the resultant images after they get converted to JPEGs.
The One X includes Beats Audio, not only in HTCs music app, but across all audio functionality. And of course, it will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich along with the much awaited HTC Sense 4.0 overlay. HTC seems to have paid a lot of attention this time in the looks department, and seem to have a winner on their hands.

The HTC One X would also be coming to the US, as an AT&T exclusive, but would feature a slight change in specs, with a 1.5 Ghz dual0core Snapdragon S4 processor instead of Tegra 3. That being said, after a not so great 2011, this could be HTCs bounce-back device this year.
