Lately, there was official information from HTC that the One M7 smartphone will receive the Android Lollipop update soon. As assured, HTC has rolled out the update to the One M7 in the United States and European regions in February. Now, the update is making its way in the Asian markets as well.
The update brings lock screen notifications with the new Lollipop UI style with improved privacy features, supports multiple pages in Recent Apps and the inclusion of search function in settings.
The One M7’s Lollipop update is an OTA update measuring 775 MB and it is rolled out in Asian markets such as India, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. Users of the One M7 smartphone in these regions can check for the update manually by heading to the Settings -> About Phone -> Check for Updates.
If you have not received the update still, you will have to wait for the same to rollout as it will take sometime for the update to reach all the devices.
