HTC 10 update carrying the March security patch rolling out for unlocked sets

HTC is seeding a new update for the HTC 10 that includes several bug fixes, enhancements, and the latest Android security patch.

The HTC 10 is running Android 7.0 Nougat, therefore this update is based on Nougat. The software version is 2.46.617.2 and it weighs around 560MB in size. The update is available as an OTA for the unlocked variant of the device.

Apart from a few bug fixes, we’re not sure what, the update installs the March Android security patch on the smartphone. Thus, we recommend that you install the update as soon as it’s available for your device.

If you haven’t received the update yet, do not worry, as it is being deployed gradually. In case you cannot wait, check for the update manually in the Settings app. As always, before installing the update, backup your device, and make sure it has more than 50 percent charge.
