How to pre-order the Moto G7

Moto G7

Motorola announced the Moto G7 earlier this month and promised a U.S. release this spring. True to the word, pre-orders of the G7 are now open in the country through multiple retailers, including Motorola itself.

The Moto G7 comes to take over from the Moto G6 and as expected, you’ll be paying slightly more for the 2019 edition. The RRP is $299.99, but of course, prices may vary depending on where you buy it.

For this amount, you are getting a 6.2-inch 1080p notched display screen, a Snapdragon 632 processor allied to 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage. The back has a dual 12MP + 5MP camera and the notch houses an 8MP selfie shooter.

Keeping the Moto G7 alive is a 3000mAh battery unit that’s charged via a USB-C. There is a 3.5mm audio jack, but no NFC or wireless charging despite the back being made of glass.

The G7 can be pre-ordered from the official Motorola store, Best Buy or B&H Photo right away, but orders will begin shipping on March 1st. And yes, all three vendors are selling the U.S. unlocked model, meaning it can be used with any carrier in the U.S., including Verizon and Sprint.

You can have the G7 in any of Ceramic Black or Clear White paint jobs. Motorola hasn’t said a thing about the availability of the other Moto G7 phones in the country.
