How to fix error on Galaxy S10 Android 10 update

It’s been only a few days since Samsung’s grand One UI 2 beta announcement, but the update has already gone live in Korea and some parts of Europe for S10, S10+, and S10e users.

Earlier reports speculated the update to go live by the end of the month, but Samsung’s newfound urgency is certainly a welcome change of pace. Not only is Samsung rolling out the update “ahead of time” but is also mentioning the possible issues users could encounter and providing a possible solution.

Beta releases are usually accompanied by a number of pesky bugs, and One UI 2 is no exception. According to Samsung, users are likely to face an error after installing the latest beta on their Galaxy S10 handset. So, the South Korean OEM, has generously jotted down a probable solution.

So, if you, too, are getting an error, follow these Samsung-approved steps to get rid of the problem for good.

Step 1: Go to Settings.

Step 2: Open Apps.

Step 3: Tap on the vertical three-dot icon in the top-right corner and tap on Show system applications.

Step 4: Then select Media Storage.

Step 5: Open Storage.

Step 6: Clear Data.
