Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 2 is just a few days away from its official launch. And like any other high-end phone, it’s currently become a subject of leaks and rumors. Adding to the list is a new leak which gives us a closer look at the device’s full-screen display 2.0.
Last year’s Mi Mix had a crazy 91.3% screen-to-body ratio and by the looks of it, the Mi Mix 2 will have an even higher screen-to-body-ratio. The awkward front-camera placement, though, is not going to change. One thing you should be willing to ignore in favor of the bigger screen.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has been rumored to come debut with the Snapdragon 836 chipset. Qualcomm, however, confirmed today that it won’t be the case and Snapdragon 835 chipset will be powering the device.
The smartphone is said to boast a massive 6.4-inch (dual curved) QHD AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is expected to come with Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based MIUI 9 out-of-the-box. Other rumored features include 6GB or 8GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB onboard storage space, and dual rear cameras.
