As per Google, July security patch resolves 43 issues in the security patch dated 2017-07-01 and 96 in the 2017-07-05 one. Unlike June update that fixed several big issues in the Pixel and Pixel XL, July update primarily focuses on the security fixes.

As is the case with any security patch, the update takes care of various security vulnerabilities. You can also expect minor performance improvements from the update.
