Gionee M7 with full screen display and dual rear cameras gets teased

Gionee M7

Well, it looks like Gionee will be the next smartphone vendor to jump on the bezel-free smartphone bandwagon. A new teaser of what seems to be the Gionee M7 has been spotted on Weibo today hinting that it could be launched very soon.

Gionee, as it’s clear from the teaser above, seems to be joining forces with Ofo, a Beijing-based bicycle sharing company to launch the Gionee M7. Apart from this, there’s not much we know about the upcoming device.

That said, the arrangement of the two bike wheels in the teaser, well, calls for a speculation. Yes, you guessed it right. The Gionee M7 could feature dual cameras on the back.

Recently a Gionee handset with the model number SW17W08 paid a visit to GFXBench with a full-screen display (18:9 aspect ratio).

The listing revealed the inclusion of a huge 6-inch display, octa-core MediaTek MT6757CD chipset, Android 7.0 Nougat, 4GB of RAM, 64GB onboard storage, and a 5MP camera on both front and back. Chances are, this could be the Gionee M7. But again, it may not be. So, let’s take it with a pinch of salt.
