Gionee A1 and A1 Plus made their debut in February at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Gionee A1 landed in India in March while the premium Gionee A1 Plus has been launched today in the country. This device will go on sale starting July 26th, that is tomorrow, at retail stores at a price of Rs 26,999.
Aimed at photography enthusiasts, the main highlight of the Gionee A1 Plus is its camera. The phone rocks dual rear cameras of 13MP+5MP resolution with LED flash. At the front, there’s an impressive 20MP camera with a customized selfie flash.

Another impressive feature is its massive 4,500 mAh battery with ultrafast charging feature which is capable of two-hour talk time in a 300-second charge. Gionee A1 Plus sports a 6-inch full-HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
The mid-range phone from Gionee is powered by a MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.

Gionee A1 Plus runs Amigo 4.0 OS based on Android 7.0 Nougat. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual-SIM support, 4G LTE and VoLTE and GPS.
