Gionee A1 Lite launched in Nepal for 26,999 Nepalese Rupee ($262)

Launched at MWC 2017, the Gionee A series (Gionee A1 and Gionee A1 Plus) now has another model under its hood. The new model, which goes by the moniker Gionee A1 Lite, as is obvious, is the little brother of Gionee A1 and Gionee A1 Plus.

While the elder brother, Gionee A1 Plus is expected to launch soon, the Lite version of A1 has gone official in Nepal. In case, you were wondering, Gionee A1 was launched in April, in Nepal.

Priced at 26,999 Nepalese Rupee ($262), the device will be up for pre-order in retail stores from June 18th. Like all Gionee smartphones, the USP of the device is its 20MP selfie camera with flash. On the rear, there is 13MP camera.

However, there is another feature that makes the A series a good buy. And, gladly, it’s the battery. Yep. Gionee A1 Lite features 4,000mAh battery with a standby time of up to 295 hours. About other specs, the smartphone features 5.3-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

Under the hood, the device is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core chipset, coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB memory. The device will run on Android Nougat out of the box.

On the other hand, while Gionee A1 flaunts a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED display, MediaTek Helio P10 processor, and 4010mAh battery, Gionee A1 Plus gets a 6-inch FHD display, MediaTek Helio P25 processer, and 4550mAh battery. Both the devices come with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, 4GB RAM, 64GB memory and Android Nougat.

Plus, while Gionee A1 has 16MP front camera and 13MP rear camera, Gionee A1 Plus features 20MP front camera and dual 13MP+5MP rear camera.
