Galaxy S8 and S8+ Brazil release set for May 12, priced R$ 3,599 and R$ 3,959

Samsung has set May 12 as the release date of Galaxy S8 and S8+ in Brazil. These flagship smartphones have been listed on Samsung Brazil online store and are up for pre-order.

The price for Galaxy S8 in Brazil has been set at R$ 3,599 while the premium S8 + model will set you back by R$ 3,959. EMI option is also available for these smartphones. But opting for it would increase the prices of S8 and S8+ to R$ 3,999 and R$4,399 respectively.

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be available in the Latin American country in three color options- White, Silver and Black. Along with these two handsets, Samsung has also listed many accessories associated with Galaxy S8 and S8+.

Meanwhile, Samsung has released a firmware update to Galaxy S8 and S8+ which installs the April security patch and fixes Bixby button remap issue. The update is rolling out as build number G950FXXU1AQDD.
