Galaxy S6 Edge Plus update rolling out with June security patch

Galaxy S6 Edge Plus

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is now receiving a new software update which installs the June security patch on the smartphone.

The update is currently being pushed over the air (OTA) which should hit your device anytime now that is of course, if you own a Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. It arrives with the software version G928FXXS3CQFA, in case you are wondering.

As is the case with any security patch, the new update for the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus should contain fixes to the bugs and issues existing in the previous build.

Since it is a security patch, the size of the update should be small. So, you can either download it over cellular data or Wi-Fi. We would definitely recommend the later since it allows you to avoid unnecessary data charges.

Also, do keep a back up handy just in case things go wrong while installing the update.
