Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge+ Android 7.0 update will be coming in China with build G9200ZCU2EQC4 and G9280ZCU2CQC4

Samsung has already started to roll out the Android Nougat update for the Galaxy S6 series of devices. In Europe, the update went live earlier this month and soon it should also be released in China.

We have received information about the Android Nougat builds for the Chinese variants of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge+. No, they haven’t yet started to roll out, but we know they’ll be out soon, perhaps at the beginning of April.

The Nougat build number for the Chinese Galaxy S6 would be G9200ZCU2EQC4, whereas the Galaxy S6 Edge+ would carry the build G9280ZCU2CQC4. The Nougat update should also include the latest March Android security patch.

Once again, Samsung hasn’t released these firmwares yet, but they should be out soon. The updates will arrive via OTA for the Chinese Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge+. Samsung recently released the source code for the Nougat update for the S6 series.
