Galaxy S10 could help you power another device through wirelessly

Galaxy S10 Reverse Charging

A photo that has been leaked and put out by various sources has thrown up the possibility of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 range featuring Wireless Reverse Charging. It may be called Powershare.

The picture in question was leaked on the Samsung Members community website by a member and it shows a controller that has 5 buttons on it. This is supposedly a controller for a demo device that would display a video for the button pressed on it.

While clicking on any of the first 4 buttons leads to videos that acquaint the audience with some of the phone range’s flagship specs (such as its fingerprint scanner and triple camera setup), the last button indicates that it leads to a video that discusses the Wireless Reverse Charging feature.

The feature is not brand-new, as Huawei has given us this feature with the Mate 20 too, and it’s the only company to do so either. The reverse charge feature can be handy sometimes, so it’s good to see Samsung giving it a nod too — Samsung would want to install as many features as they could into Galaxy S10, anyway, and that’s reasonable.

So, Samsung may call it Powershare, which suits Samsung naming scheme, too. Right?

Also, rumors suggest that the battery size of the Galaxy S10E will be 3100mAh, Galaxy S10 will be 3500mAh, Galaxy S10+ will be 4100mAh, and Galaxy S10 5G variant may host a 5000mAh slab.

Samsung is busy updating its flagship devices like Galaxy S8, S9, Note 8 and Note 9 to Android Pie right now. The company has released the Galaxy S9 and Note 9 Pie update in the U.S. for select carriers and more are expected to join the party in the coming days.
