Samsung’s next premium smartphone will mark the 10th anniversary of its Galaxy S flagship line. You’ve guessed it, the handset will be called the Galaxy S10 and according to rumors so far, will be released in three versions.
The cheapest is said to arrive with 64GB of internal storage on board, but obviously, Samsung will offer more generous options too.
Well according to the latest info reported by AllAboutSamsung, the internal storage of more advanced Galaxy S10 versions could be the next-generation UFS 3.0 which was announced during Qualcomm’s 4G/5G Summit in Hong Kong.

UFS 3.0 will become available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB variants. The new standard should boast a 2x increase in memory bandwidth, according to Samsung. The current standard for flash storage in the mobile space is UFS 2.1, but by 2019, we could make the transition to UFS 3.0 and the Galaxy S10 could be among the first to feature this. On top of that, the new memory standard will also be 5G compliant.
At it could be speculated that having a 512GB storage on board, also means at least one version of the Galaxy S10 might arrive with up to 10GB of RAM. Although Samsung’s current flagships offer up to 6GB of RAM, so it would be quite a jump.

The report also reveals Samsung’s flagship could match Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 3 impressive 93.4% screen-to-body ratio. A big 4,000 mAh battery is allegedly also part of the package. The Galaxy S10 is shaping up to be a great device so far, but not we do have some bad news. It appears this year, Samsung will follow the suit of other device manufacturers and release a flagship without a 3.5mm headphone jack.
