Galaxy Note 8 Oreo for AT&T leaks out, should arrive soon

Galaxy Note 8 Oreo

Samsung is expected to start rolling out the Galaxy Note 8 Oreo update in the coming weeks, if not days. Ahead of this official rollout, a leaked firmware for AT&T has appeared online, which only but confirms the rollout is almost here.

According to XDA Developers, the unreleased Galaxy Note 8 Oreo build has been added to the American carrier’s servers, meaning that it has now been certified for rollout. As you may know, Samsung sells Snapdragon flagships in the U.S., which means that the leaked build is for the Snapdragon 835 variant of the Note 8.

As part of the Oreo update, Galaxy Note 8 users will receive features like PIP, notification channels and snoozing, background app optimization as well as Samsung Experience 9.0. As it is, the update also carries this month’s Android security patch.

Note that the Note 8 Oreo update isn’t yet available over the air, but if you can’t wait for the official rollout to begin and that your Note 8 is Snapdragon-powered with model number N950U or N950U1, hit the source link below to grab the Oreo build and do a manual update, if you really know what that means.
