Galaxy Note 5 update with Android 7.0 Nougat roling out in Europe, build N920IDVU3CQD3

After rolling out Nougat update for the Galaxy Note 5 in the US, Korea and India, now it is time for Europe to taste Nougat. The update is being pushed over the air with the build number N920IDVU3CQD3.

Although the update has arrived in Romania, it is being rolled out gradually to other European countries and should take a while before the roll out is complete.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update weighs in at around 1.3GB and brings in many new features such as split-window mode, notification controls, improved menu settings and user interface. The update will also install the March Android security patch on the device.

It is advisable to connect to a good Wifi network before downloading the update and since the update weighs around 1.3GB, make sure you have enough free storage. Further, keep your handset charged as high as 50 percent.

If you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for it manually via the Settings. Go to Settings – About – Software updates.
