Update (July , 2016): More Galaxy A7 variants are receiving the Android 6.0.1 update today. Basically, the update is rolling out in Korea, and the relevant model nos. are SM-A710K, SM-A710L and SM-A710S. The firmware is already available on web, and we’re sure the OTA is hitting the above-mentioned model nos. too as we speak.
Right after we reported the the Galaxy A3 Marshmallow update release in Korea, news drops that the coveted update is hitting the Galaxy A7 2016 users too. If your own the A7 tagged as SM-A710F, then do look for the system update in Settings, and if luck is on your side, you may see an update for build no. A710FXXU1BPG1, which is your android Marshmallow update.
As you may already know, Marshmallow update brings various solid under the hood improvements for stable and faster than ever performance on the device. Moreover, there are three great features that will make it to Galaxy A7 too with Marshmallow: the doze mode, advanced app permissions, and Google Now’s Now on Tap.
