Fossil Android Wear 2.0 update will be rolling out in March

A delightful news for those using a Fossil watch! The company has announced that all of its devices would be getting the Android Wear 2.0 this year itself.

In a reply to a question posted on Twitter inquiring when would the Q Founder model receive the Android Wear 2.0 update, Fossil said that the OS update will be released in mid-March. And not only to the said model but to all of its offerings.

Android Wear 2.0 was launched early this month with LG Watch Style and Watch Sport. Huawei joined the league with the release of two Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches in the ongoing Mobile World Congress tech show in Barcelona- the Huawei Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic.

While these are new wearable devices launched with the latest Androd Wear OS, Fossil seems to be one of the first company to offer the update on its already available smartwatches. The second in line is Asus which plans to bring the Android Wear 2.0 to ZenWatch 2 and ZenWatch 3 sometime in Q2 this year.

Here’s the tentative list of devices Android Wear 2.0 update could release on.
