The Elephone P9000 from China will be a worthy buy once it is launched officially. The reason for the same is that this smartphone will be the first one to employ a 10-core processor under its hood.

Well, there are speculations that the Elephone P9000 might be equipped with a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 MT6797 chipset that will make use of a 2.5 GHz dual core Cortex A72, a quad core 2 GHz Cortex A53 processor and a quad core 1.4 GHz Cortex A53 processor.

The device should be capable of rendering a perfect balance between power consumption and performance depending on the various applications. The deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 chipset is claimed to be supplemented with Mali-T800 graphics unit. This graphics unit was not even used by the flagship Exynos 7420 Soc from Samsung and hence, it is believed to rock alongside the SoC.

Apart from these aspects, the Elephone P9000 seems to have other impressive aspects including a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage space. The imaging hardware of the device in question is likely to comprise of a 20.7 MP main snapper and an 8 MP front facer. The other goodies onboard are said to include Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 3,100 mAh battery.

The Elephone P9000 is expected to be launched officially in October. Eventually, there is enough time for the other manufacturers to outshine the Elephone P9000.
