Dual SIM W832 Xenium announced by Philips, touts great battery life

Philips, a manufacturer not exactly known as a serious player in the Android smartphone world, has announced the W832 Xenium, a dual SIM smartphone that runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Philips is promising great battery life on the device, quoting up to 11 hours of talk time, 9 hours of web browsing, and up to 683 hours of stand-by with both SIMs active, no doubt helped by the 2400 mAh battery inside.

The spec sheet of the W832 includes a 4.5-inch qHD display, 1GHz dual-core MTK processor, 8 megapixel camera, 4GB internal storage, microSD slot, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and 3G connectivity on one of the SIM cards.

The pricing and launch date of the W832 Xenium weren’t announced, but we’ll let know whenever Philips sees it fit to give us some more details about the device.

Would you be interested in buying one if the price is right?
