Droid 3 Launching in June with 4 inch qHD display and dual-core processor but without LTE.

The Droid, the phone that started Android growth that we’re seeing today, is set to say hello to its grandson, the Droid 3. We’ve seen the Droid 3 phone before too, more than just couple of times, but this time it’s full with indications of what specs are on the list — and what are not.

If you’re looking for the LTE equipped Droid device, I guess you’ll have to wait for Droid 4 because the 3rd generation of the Droid isn’t said to take you into a LTE dive. That’s strange, because the Droid was actually supposed to bring it all at once but hey, it’s still not official and you can at least pray that the no-LTE rumors prove wrong in the end.

Until then, the gossip tips around the qHD display, which is seeing its way into the Droid family with Droid 3 too, not just Droid X2. What’s also nice to see is the room for 4 inch screen and the 5 row keyboard, the fifth at the top taking care of numbers, only.

Other than that, there’s of course a dual-core processor rumored — a 50-50 chance between nVidia’s tegra 2 processor and TI’s OMAP 4430 chip — along with the 8 MP camera at the back with 1.3 Mp camera in the front.

So, this is it — for now. Droid 3 gets 4 inch qHD display with 5 row keyboard — 3,4 and 5, get it? No LTE related 6 mbps, eh!

Anyone Interested?
