Download T-Mobile Moto X 2013 Lollipop 5.1 Stock ROM (recovery flashable)

The Moto X 2013 finally received its share of Lollipop goodness in the Android 5.1 update earlier this month in the US, while in other parts of the world the device received Lollipop 5.0 update long ago.

Anyway, all the major carriers in USA have released the Lollipop 5.1 update to Moto X 2013 now, and if you’re T-Mobile, there’s even better stuff available for you already. Developer VitaTaf over at XDA have made a recovery flashable stock ROM for the T-Mobile Moto X 2013 Lollipop 5.1 update in various versions — untouched, deodexed, debloated and modded. You could choose the ROM of your style.

The modded version of the ROM features the following cool stuff:

  • Debloated
  • Android-M-style lock screen
  • Default Lollipop screen off animation (desaturate instead of fade)
  • Ad-blocked
  • Native SIP
  • Chop twice for flashlight
  • Power control widget
  • Updated system sounds from Nexus 6
  • Smaller quick settings icons from Android M

Also, these ROMs are easily rootable by flashing the latest SuperSU beta from TWRP recovery. Grab all the versions of the ROM from the download links below:

  1. I installed on my moto x xt1053, installation was no problem but the home button (circle in lollipop) does NOT work, nor can i acces the quick settings on the menu (swipe down twice).
Its really annoying, i don’t know how to fix this, and i fear there could be more errors.

    1. I had the same very issue but was because I did not wipe the phone. Did it again and everything is running like a charm
