The Android 5.1.1 OTA update which rolled out to Sprint Note Edge last week is now available for download as full firmware via Kies. The firmware build number stands at N915PVPU4COFE.
If for some reason you weren’t able to install the OTA update, or you wanted to hold back until a full stock firmware is available, then now is the time. Grab the full firmware from the download link below and flash it off via Odin.
Before you go ahead and install the OFE build on your Sprint Note Edge, know that root and a compatible recovery aren’t yet available for the device on 5.1.1 OFE build. Also, once you upgrade to OFE by flashing the full firmware via Odin, you won’t be able to downgrade to 5.0 build later if need be. So just be sure of these things before you proceed.
