Let’s face it: the OnePlus One will definitely receive official Android 6.0 update but it won’t be anytime soon. OnePlus took great time with the OnePlus One’s Android 5.1 Lollipop update, and it wasn’t reasonably at all.
All while the device deserves to be among one of the first Android devices to receive the Marshmallow update, not because of its sheer specs, also because it was one of the most favorite device among Android lovers last year.
Thanks to custom ROM development scene on Android, many devices that wouldn’t receive the Marshmallow update — at all or any soon — are already running the 6.0 update.
