Google pushed out first update to the Google camera app released in last month. There’s not much to look for in the new update except for the return of ability to take pictures while recording videos which has been available in Android since the last few iterations.

The Google Camera app is the stock Android camera app which was released to Play store last month as Google moves forward to bring all stock Google Android apps that comes pre-installed on Nexus devices to every Android device out there.

Also, it wasn’t only a move to bring the camera app to the Play store. The v2.1 update to the camera pp brought along completely overhauled user interface with a variety of new features, among which Lens blur was the most exciting one. Lens blur lets take photos with DSLR like blurred backgrounds, which is also the top camera feature of almost every flagship Android device of 2014.

Anyway, grab the latest update from the Play store link here or download the Google Camera apk file from the link below and install it just the way you’d install any other APK file.
