Did the Galaxy Note 7-inch just get the Wi-Fi certification?

There has been talk of Samsung releasing a 7-inch version of the Galaxy Note to grab a piece of the highly competitive 7-inch tablet market, and a Samsung tablet going by the model number GT-N5110 that has just passed Wi-Fi certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance might just be the 7-inch Galaxy Note, as the Nxxxx model numbers are always carried by Samsung’s Note devices.

While it is not certain whether the display will be 7-inch or 7.8-inch in size, we can expect it to sell in huge numbers, specially considering how each Galaxy Note, phablet or tablet, has been a hit for the Korean company. It would be great to see a Super AMOLED display on a tablet again, as the only time Samsung put that display on a tablet was with the Galaxy Tab 7.7. And of course the quad-core Exynos processor should make an appearance as well.

We’ll be keeping a close eye on this one, so stay tuned for more info in the future. It is only a matter of time before the Galaxy Note comes to the 7-inch tablet market, and we’ll be waiting in anticipation for sure.
